My EASEE charging cable is stuck, what do I do?

There are three different reasons that may cause your cable to be stuck.

• Someone has tried pulling out the cable when it was locked, creating tension between the locking arm and the cable. In this case, the Charger card will show that the cable is locked but not blue.
• The tolerance of the charging cable connector and the type of material can cause issues.
• The charger is offline due to connection problems.

The method is also shown in the video at the bottom.

1. Make sure the cable is disconnected from the car.
2. Ensure that the permanent lock is deactivated.
   1. Press "Cable" on the Charger card in the Easee app.
      The tab for the permanent cable lock appears.
   2. Ensure that the permanent lock is set to Off.
   3. Make sure the "Cable" button in the app indicates whether it's "Unlocked",
      
      or it shows "Locked" with a white button.
      
3. Push the charging cable firmly into the charging box.
4. While pushing the cable, press the touch button on the charger (just above the LED strip).
   
   This should allow the cable lock to move freely upward, unlocking the cable from the charger. You will hear the locking arm move.
   
   
5. Pull the cable hard out of the charger. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 if it didn't work and apply extra force if needed.
